I joined the Global Brand Creative team (now called Dell Blue) at Dell in 2011 when they had just rolled out Dell's first take on brand standards. Prior to this time, Dell was a fragmented brand without a clear understanding of who it was. As the authority on Dell's newly established brand, we made it our mission to train not only marketers but every Dell team member to understand, apply, and ultimately champion the Dell brand. With a modest kit of parts, a new direction, and unwavering support from leadership, our small team broke boundaries and shifted brand perception.
In addition to brand standards, I helped establish and evolve many of the rules and guidelines still in existence today including; photography and video guidelines, event guidelines for both Dell owned and sponsored events, and numerous campaign toolkits. I even co-facilitated a storytelling course for sales teams and marketers.
